Lyric: 2005 - “Helena”
Annotation:
The music video for  “Helena” was filmed at the  Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. It was made as an acknowledgment video to the passing of frontman Gerard Way and his brother’s grandmother. In an interview with  Kerrang!, Way said, that the song was really angry open letter to myself. It’s about why I wasn’t around for this woman who was so special to me, why I wasn’t there for the last year of her life. The filming of the music video was especially emotional for the brothers after discovering the coffin used for filming was extremely similar to the one they buried their grandmother in. Annotation:
The music video for  “Famous Last Words” was filmed on the same day as that of  “Welcome To The Black Parade.” Both videos were directed by Sam Bayer, who has also worked with pop-punk legends  Green Day. At the time of filming, the song was untitled. The video shows the band performing in front of a pyrotechnics display. One shot depicts the parade from “WTTBP” burning to the ground, which is a scene infamous among fans because drummer Bob Bryar was severely burned during the take.
